West Herts CC is a League Cricket Club in South West Hertfordshire. It is an ECB Focus club with "Clubmark" registration. We field 5 adult sides on a Saturday as well as T20 fixtures. We have a very active junior section with eleven teams ranging from U9-U17 with a full programme of coaching to support this.
West Herts C.C. was founded in 1891 and until 1922 shared the ground with Watford FC who then moved to their present home at the nearby Vicarage Road Stadium. This also presents club members with a meeting point for home matches of Watford FC.

The club is very ambitious and are always looking to improve at both playing and facility levels.
The club is situated in the heart of Watford. We are ideally situated as a family club. The town centre with it's excellent shopping centre is 5 minutes walk from the ground and the vast Cassiobury Park with paddling pools, childrens play area, canal and walks in Whippendell Woods is just outside the club entrance. For the late evenings, the thriving bar & club scene of Watford is also just a very short walk (stagger!!) from the clubhouse.
